Each device is shipped in a box with a USB cable (for power), an Ethernet cable and a Quick Start Guide. The USB cable is used to power the device directly from the router* and the Ethernet cable is used to connected the device to a free LAN port.
Once connected, you need to register it at my.monitor-io.com (and checkout Getting Started under Help while there). You can also download our Android/iOS alerting app to receive real-time notifications on your smart device.
*Alternatively, a standalone USB Type A power adapter could be used. We recommend one rated 2 Amps or higher.
