The timing of alerts is based on the intervals that we use for both Internet testing and home network device monitoring. Our Internet testing uses 15-minute intervals while our device monitoring uses 5-minute intervals. When an interval completes, the data is stored in our cloud. Within a couple of minutes it is analyzed for alert creation and (if configured) subsequent user notification.
Note: If an event happens to occur near the end of an interval an alert is created in a very short time. However, an event that occurs near the beginning of an interval will take the remaining interval time (plus analysis time) for alert creation.
