The I/O Monitor is a dual-stack system supporting both IPv4 and IPv6. If IPv6 is available on your home network, it will be utilized for connectivity testing. However, for maximum compatibility, Internet data testing (as well as home network device monitoring) will use IPv4. The important consideration is that if both are available, both will be exercised.


Note: At this time, an IPv6-Only network is not supported.
